Why Kate Middleton, Prince William Will Attend 'James Bond' Premiere With Prince Charles, Camilla

Members of the British royal family will be attending the world premiere of the latest James Bond film for an important cause.

Prince William and Kate Middleton, along with his father, Prince Charles, and Camilla Parker-Bowles, will be present at the world premiere for "No Time to Die" on Tuesday.

The four royals were invited as guests of honor at the screening. It will be held at London's Royal Albert Hall, according to the statement from Clarence House obtained by Us Weekly.

The royal family members will not be the only special guests at the long-awaited premiere. They will be joined by healthcare workers and servicemen and women of the royal armed forces, who have been invited in honor of their "extraordinary contribution to the nation's response to the COVID pandemic," the statement read.

The upcoming world premiere will benefit charities supporting serving and former members of the three intelligence agencies: the Secret Intelligence Service, the Security Service and Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ). The evening will also assist charities supporting current and former members of U.K. special forces, according to the official Bond website.

The royal family is not new to attending star-studded film premieres. The Prince of Wales is the patron of The British Film Institute, which promotes understanding and preservation of film and television culture. His son, Prince William, has been the president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) since February 2010.

Both father and son are also longtime fans of James Bond films. Prince Charles visited the set of "No Time to Die" back in 2019 to meet its lead star, Daniel Craig. The heir to the British throne also got to take a look at Bond's car collection.

Aside from Craig, "No Time to Die" also stars Ana de Armas, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Lashana Lynch, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright and Billy Magnussen, to name a few.

The cast, along with Billie Eilish, who sings the "No Time to Die" theme song, and her older brother and producer Finneas O'Connell, will attend the premiere as well, according to the palace.

"No Time to Die" marks Craig's fifth and final turn as Agent 007, and there are rumors that the next James Bond could be "Bridgerton" star Regé-Jean Page.

Pierce Brosnan, who starred in multiple Bond movies from 1995 to 2002, is supportive of Page taking over the role of the British spy agent. "I think he would be wonderful," the "Die Another Day" star said.

Page fueled rumors when he tweeted in December 2020, "Regency, royalty. Shaken and stirred." However, he just laughed off the rumors when asked about the speculation during an appearance on Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show" in January.

"I think the internet thinks a lot of things, and that's one of the more pleasant ones, so I'm pleased as far as that goes," he replied while smiling.

"No Time to Die" hits theaters on Oct. 8.
