Why Khloé Kardashian 'Keeps Going Back To' Tristan Thompson, Isn't Dating Someone New: Report

Khloé Kardashian's family wants her to be with someone who treats her right following her split from Tristan Thompson, according to a report.

Kardashian and the 30-year-old Boston Celtics player called it quits once more in June, nearly one year after getting back together, amid a new round of cheating allegations. Following their latest breakup, the Kardashian-Jenner clan would prefer that she "move on with someone who treats her better," an unnamed "Kardashian source" told People.

"Her family thinks Tristan's behavior is very childish and unfair to Khloé," the insider explained. "They would love for her to move on with someone who treats her better. They also understand why it's so hard for her."

The source said that Kardashian is still open to getting back together with Thompson, with whom she shares 3-year-old daughter True.

"They have a complicated relationship. Khloé would love for them to be together. She wants to have a romantic relationship with Tristan and not only be co-parents," the source added.

According to the insider, Kardashian was "flattered" by the attention she's receiving from Thompson and flirty comments he's been leaving on her Instagram posts, but "it's also very confusing for her."

"And this is why she keeps going back to him. Tristan has a way to make her feel the most special. She loves that feeling," the tipster told People. "Whenever they are broken up, it's been very hard for Khloe to move on. She has yet to date someone else."

Since they began dating in 2016, Kardashian and Thompson have weathered their fair share of drama. Just days before Kardashian gave birth in 2018, reports surfaced that the NBA star had been unfaithful.

They broke up in early 2019 after Thompson reportedly kissed Kylie Jenner's friend, Jordyn Woods. They reconciled once more in summer 2020 but recently split again amid claims made by Instagram model Sydney Chase that she and Thompson had a fling while he was with Kardashian.

After their latest split, an unnamed source told Us Weekly, "Khloe still loves Tristan and honestly, would take him back in a heartbeat, but that’s not happening any time soon."

"They spent pretty much 24/7 together, and now that she broke up with him, they’re not around each other as much anymore," the insider continued. "She’s trying to just adjust and transition into being friendly co-parents and separate her emotions from him."

Meanwhile, Thompson recently called out Kardashian’s ex-husband Lamar Odom after the latter commented on a bikini photo she posted on Instagram, calling her a "hottie."

Thompson appeared to take issue with Odom's comment, writing, "@lamarodom God brought you back the first time. Play if you want, different results," with two shrugging emojis. He followed this up with two red hearts and two drooling emojis in a separate comment.
