Kylie Jenner decided to keep mum about her pregnancy for 9 months, and it’s not only because she didn’t want people to see that she was gaining weight.

A source told People that the 20-year-old was worried that she would be judged by others because she got pregnant at such a young age. After releasing her pregnancy announcement video, Jenner also penned a lengthy note to her fans on social media.

In her post, she said that she wanted to prioritize her baby’s health, and did not want the baby or herself to have negative emotions. Additionally, Jenner was not also ready for a huge pregnancy reveal and only felt that she was up for it after she gave birth to her child.

“She knew it was inevitable, but she knew she would be judged for being so young. Kylie’s very sensitive and is obsessed with her public image. When she started gaining weight, that’s when she really started going under the radar. She didn’t want the public scrutiny and didn’t think it would be healthy for her or her baby,” the source said.

Meanwhile, Jenner has also enjoyed living her life away from the spotlight for the past five to six months. Another source told the same publication before Jenner gave birth that the cosmetics mogul plans to take things as they come. A third source said that Jenner is very excited that she is now a mom.

“She doesn’t seem in any rush to get back to a more public life. She is not selling baby pictures. She has a baby name,” the source said.

And just days after announcing the arrival of her baby, Jenner revealed that she has named her daughter Stormi, according to US Weekly.

Fans already predicted the name of her first born in January so it was no longer a surprise when she decided to call her as such.
