Why Melissa Gorga Wants Denise Richards To Confront ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Cast
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 10 has consisted of nothing but trouble for cast member Denise Richards. From rumors that she had an affair with Brandi Glanville to having a major fallout with her co-stars, the 49-year-old has failed to work out her issues on the Bravo reality series.
However, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Melissa Gorga believes Denise’s failure to confront the women and discuss their issues is only going to make matters worse.
During an episode of “Getting Real with the Housewives” podcast, Melissa told Us Weekly that she believes Denise needs to speak with her co-stars so they can understand her side of the story.
“I always say stay there and get out whatever you want to say. When you leave the scene, sometimes that’s not always the best way because then you lead them to talk about it, and it’s not always the truth,” Melissa said.
The 41-year-old revealed that she always makes sure that her voice is heard when she disagrees with her co-stars. “So I personally never run from a scene. I sit there until I get my point across and explain it and state my facts,” she explained.
“You got to just throw in the towel and be like, ‘All right, I’m not perfect,’ and that’s why we’re on the show, to show we’re not here to act like a Mary Poppins.”
In April, rumors began to circulate that Denise secretly quit the “RHOBH” after she missed two cast events. However, insiders told People that the star “absolutely didn’t quit” the reality series.
“Denise didn’t go to [costar] Teddi [Mellencamp’s] baby shower, because she was sick. And then she chose not to go to the last party [filmed for the show] because she had already addressed the Brandi drama, and she knew it was going to be brought back up again. She had no desire to be a part of that,” the source revealed.
“Denise knows this is a reality show, and what she signed up to do. But she has three daughters, and she’s concerned about them — this is about more than the show.”
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 10 airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
