Why Mindy Kaling Wants Meghan Markle To Throw Her Daughter’s Birthday Party

Mindy Kaling recently revealed that she wants Meghan Markle to throw her daughter Katherine’s first birthday party.

The funny woman revealed that she will be moving to London soon and won’t have friends when she arrives in the United Kingdom.

“So I’m moving to London, I’m gonna be completely friendless… Meghan Markle maybe wants to be in my life? Maybe she can throw the first birthday party for my daughter?” she told E! News.

But of course, Kaling was just joking. It is unclear if she and Markle have met in the United States as actors.

Meanwhile, Kaling also opened up about motherhood and shared some of the struggles she’s faced with.

“The great thing about motherhood is that you always worry when you’re pregnant like, ‘Oh, am I gonna be a good mother? I’m so busy and everything.’ But the great thing is, you live with this person, and they creep and seep into every aspect of your life, so it’s almost impossible not to be a good mom because I’m always with my baby,” she said.

Kaling said that since her pregnancy, she has been picky when it comes to accepting certain projects. Luckily for her, she is able to do this. But the actress knows not everyone has the same luxury.

“The Mindy Project” star gave birth to her first child in December of last year. Months before Katherine’s arrival, she sat down for an interview with NBC’s “Today” and said that she’s really excited to become a mom.

“I’d like to be the fun mom, I know I’m gonna be the dorky mom. So if I can be kind of fun too, I think that would be nice,” she said.

Kaling has not revealed the identity of her daughter’s dad, but during the time of her interview, she wasn’t linked with anyone romantically, according to E! News.
