Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dubbed as cheap by a television host.

This Morning” host Eamonn Holmes pointed out how the gift for a first anniversary was traditionally paper. As such, the people behind the show brought up cardboard cutouts of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which they said would be given to the royal couple.

Holmes and co-host Ruth Langsford also brought out cardboard cutouts of themselves that they said they would send to Prince Harry and Markle so that they will always remember them.

The fake presents didn’t stop when Langsford brought out a cardboard clock customized with a picture of Prince Harry and Markle on their royal wedding.

“It’s a very unique timepiece. For some reason, the hands are going around at the same time… That’s because it’s cheap and rubbishy, darling,” Holmes said.

Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 18, 2019. On Sunday, they celebrated their first wedding anniversary with a touching throwback video taken from their special day.

The clip, which was uploaded on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s official Instagram account, featured an adorable photo of Markle walking down the aisle with Prince Charles. Another photo shows Markle talking to her mom, Doria Ragland.

Prince Harry and Markle were also featured in the clip signing their marriage contracts. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also shared a kiss as they stepped outside the church after their wedding ceremony.

The past year has been both exciting and challenging for the “Suits” alum and her husband. They were plagued with different kinds of controversies, but the biggest highlight of their relationship came earlier this month.

On May 6, Markle gave birth to her son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Markle gave birth at the Portland Hospital in London, and Prince Harry was by her side when she did.
