Why Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s ‘Bad Press’ Is Blamed On Buckingham Palace Staff

The constant scrutiny that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing has been blamed on Buckingham Palace staff.

During a recent interview on the "Jeremy Vine On 5," TV star Nicola McLean said that the public has been very hard on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“I think the Palace is as well. I think a lot of this bad press is coming from the palace… It’s been from the very beginning,” she said.

But a spokesperson for the palace told Express that they couldn’t comment on McLean’s statement.

Prince Harry and Markle have been at the center of a series of public backlashes ever since they tied the knot. Last year, rumors also swirled that the Sussexes are feuding with the Cambridges.

At that time, a palace insider accused the “Suits” alum of being demanding and said that Prince Harry’s wife has been acting like a diva ever since she joined the royal family.

And after it was announced that Prince Harry and Markle would be moving out of Kensington Palace, rumors once again heightened that they are indeed at odds with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Most recently, Prince Harry and Markle were criticized for taking a private jet to their vacation destination. Royal experts and journalist called the royal couple hypocrites.

As of late, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not responded to the criticisms that were thrown at them within the past couple of months. But this week, Prince Harry decided to break his silence over the private jet backlash.

The new dad said that he decided to take a private jet despite his attempts to speak out against climate change to make sure that his son, Archie, would be safe. However, Prince Harry’s explanation didn’t sit well with a lot of people.

Markle’s husband has been accused of lying, and the Sussexes are once again facing a public backlash over Prince Harry’s statement.
