Why Queen Didn’t Involve Kate Middleton, Camilla In Crisis Talks With Harry
KEY POINTS
- Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker Bowles not included in crisis talks
- Kate Middleton incredibly hurt by Prince Harry's decision
- Prince William and Prince Harry left Sandringham after crisis talks in separate cars
Queen Elizabeth II did not involve Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker Bowles in the crisis talks with Prince Harry.
On Monday, the monarch summoned the Prince of Wales, Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex for a four-way meeting to discuss the future of the Sussexes after they announced that they are resigning from their royal duties. Some wonder why the future queens Duchess of Cornwall and Duchess of Cambridge were not included in the meeting.
According to People, there is a reason why the Queen didn’t get Middleton and Camilla involve in their meeting. The crisis talks were limited to the heads of each family and those born into the British royal family. That is why even if they are the spouses of the future kings, they were not invited in the meeting. However, since Meghan Markle is directly involved in the issue, it is believed that she participated via phone from Canada.
Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry’s meeting lasted for two-and-a-half hours. The four royals held their crisis talks at the Queen’s country home in Sandringham, Norfolk.
Prince Harry and Prince William were spotted leaving the Queen’s premises in separate cars. Markle’s husband left in a black Ranger Rover. Meanwhile, Prince William was seen driving solo in a different vehicle. Prince Charles also took off on his own.
On the same day, Middleton was seen leaving Kensington Palace. According to Hello! the duchess was driving from her and Prince William’s London residence Apartment 1A for a school run. Prince George and Princess Charlotte are currently attending Thomas’s Battersea in London.
Middleton was reportedly “incredibly hurt” by Prince Harry’s decision to resign from his royal duty. Prince Harry was very close to the Cambridges before he married Markle. In fact, some dubbed him Prince William and Middleton’s third wheel in the past.
“When Harry was feeling low or had problems, William was always there for him, as was Kate. Kate’s incredibly hurt too. She acted as a mentor to Harry before Meghan came into the picture and hates seeing her husband so upset,” a source told Us Weeky.
