Why Scott Disick, Sofia Richie Reportedly Won't Get Married Just Yet

Scott Disick has reportedly revealed that he has no intention of marrying his girlfriend, Sofia Richie, until his ex, Kourtney Kardashian, moves on. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" stars share three children and are said to be close friends nowadays.

According to HollywoodLife, Disick, 36, stated that he would be more "comfortable" with the idea if Kardashian, 40, got married as well.

"Scott loves Sofia and feels that marriage and children are a thing down the line but Scott would feel more comfortable for all that to happen if Kourtney would be married before them," an insider divulged.

Contuining, they added, "Scott feels that he would hurt Kourtney and the kids feelings if he is married and Kourtney isn't. Scott is aware that many would think that it was potentially a weird thing to feel that way since Scott and Kourtney are no longer romantic but that is what is going through Scott's mind."

However, while some may view that as an excuse for postponing a potential engagement to Richie, 20, the source assures people that is not the case.

As for Kourtney, she seemingly would love to get married one day, although she understands the difficulties of dating someone with so many 'factors,' surrounding her, according to HollywoodLife.

"She clearly has her type, she is a celebrity, she has kids and not only would you be dating Kourtney you'd be dating the entire Kardashian family. You would have every single eyeball imaginable on you and it takes quite the guy to cut through all that relationship red tape," the source said.

For her part, Kardashian has been supportive of her ex's new relationship as the three of them have been seen on vacation together, but for now, it appears as though the reality star is focused on her career and being a mom.
