“GLOW” Season 3 released Friday, and that’s a little concerning for some fans. Recent reports have claimed that Netflix isn’t interested in originals lasting longer than three seasons, but star Alison Brie says the end of the new “GLOW” episodes leaves room for a fourth season.

“Definitely,” Brie told International Business Times when asked if Season 3 leaves the door open for another season. “I feel like if we didn’t get a fourth season, fans would be very disappointed.”

Brie, who plays actress-turned-wrestler Ruth on the comedy, warned that the season ends on a note that will leave fans wanting more.

“I think that the story is ramping up, and there’s so much about to happen at the end of the season and it’s very exciting,” she teased while promoting Manitoba Harvest. “And yeah, I think you would definitely need a fourth season to see the story through. So fingers crossed.”

Netflix doesn’t seem to care about cliffhangers, though. According to a March Deadline report, Netflix doesn’t see much reason to renew TV shows beyond three seasons if they aren’t massive successes. Shows like “Orange Is the New Black” and “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” are breakout hits that garner critical acclaim and awards, thus increasing subscriptions.

However, if a show isn’t massively successful, Netflix reportedly believes that viewers will move on after three seasons. Thus, they have a string of shows canceled after the third season including “One Day at a Time,” “Daredevil,” “Love” and “Bloodline.”

Luckily, “GLOW” has critics on their side. Though it isn’t racking up Emmys like “Orange Is the New Black,” it does get some awards season love. Betty Gilpin, who plays Debbie, is nominated for best supporting comedy actress at the Primetime Emmys for the second year in a row. The show is also up for five other categories.

The half-hour comedy was nominated in nine Emmy categories last year and walked away with two statues for stunt coordination and production design.

Fans will have to wait and see if “GLOW” is renewed for Season 4.
