Will Katie Holmes And Jamie Foxx Ever Get Married? Actor Explains Stance On Marriage

Rumors have been circulating for years that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are dating and from the sound of the actor’s latest interview, it looks like that is all they will ever do.

On Tuesday, the actor appeared on “The Howard Stern Show” on SiriusXM. While chatting with the host, the “Robin Hood” actor revealed that not much has changed for him in the past few years including where he stands on the idea of marriage, reports E! News.

At one point during the interview, the host inquired about Foxx’s personal life. “What’s going on?” Stern asked.

“It’s all good,” the actor said. Attempting to get more information out of the actor, the host asked if he has been enjoying life.

“I’m having a ball,” Foxx stated.

Seemingly over Foxx’s ambiguous answers, Stern’s co-host Robin Quivers asked the actor if he ever plans to walk down the aisle, saying, “Are you still not into marriage at all?”

Foxx revealed that he is still firmly against the idea. “Why blow it? I got two great kids and stuff like that,” explained. Foxx is the father to two daughters, Corinne, 23, and Annalise, 7, from previous relationships.

Although she has been mum about marriage, Holmes went through a very public divorce with ex-husband Tom Cruise with whom she shares a daughter, Suri, 11. Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise in 2012 and reportedly began dating Foxx a year later.

In 2013, it was confirmed that one of the reasons Holmes chose to end her marriage with Cruise was due to his ties to Scientology. During a deposition for the actor’s lawsuit against a magazine, the movie star revealed that Holmes filed for divorce in order to protect their daughter from his beliefs.

While it is unclear whether or not Holmes would be interested in walking down the aisle again, Foxx was firm in his stance against marriage.

“You’ve done it all man, you’ve done it all man, that’s enough,” Stern said to Foxx during the interview. When the host suggested that Foxx has reached a point in his life where he should be at home and out of the spotlight, the actor disagreed.

“No man, we can’t do that, don’t do that,” the actor said.

Foxx’s latest interview wasn’t the first time he has expressed his opinion about marriage. In 2012, during an appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s show “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” the actor explained that he had doubts about getting married.

“I don’t know if I’m built for marriage. I know one thing, I’m a very loving person. When it comes to connecting with somebody then being like there...I know I could be long-term in our connection,” the actor said.

At the moment, it seems like his and Holmes’ long-term connection has been working out just fine for them. Not only were the two recently spotted in Paris together but sources told Us Weekly that Holmes is head over heels for Foxx. “She gushes about how amazing he is,” an insider said.

While marriage may not be on the table for the couple, it seems like Holmes and Foxx have found an arrangement that they are both content with.
