Will Matt And Jeff Hardy Have A WrestleMania 33 Match? WWE Return Appears Likely
One of the greatest tag teams in professional wrestling history could soon be returning to WWE. Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy have reportedly been offered contracts by the company, and it’s at least possible that they will be a part of WrestleMania 33.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE has presented a deal to The Hardy Boyz. If they do agree to make a comeback, it might be just in time for them to have a match at WWE’s biggest event of 2017.

Matt and Jeff recently left TNA, signing short-term deals with Ring of Honor. They won’t appear on WWE TV before April 1 when they defend their ROH Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks. However, it’s certainly possible that they could appear at WrestleMania 33 the following night.
Every champion in WWE is set to defend their title at WrestleMania 33, except for The Usos, who just won the SmackDown Tag Team Championships from American Alpha. Eight championship matches are scheduled for the show, but The Usos are not on the card with less than two weeks remaining until WrestleMania 33.
Could The Hardy Boyz make a surprise return at WrestleMania 33 and have an impromptu match with The Usos? Even if a deal with Matt and Jeff has yet to be signed, it’s possible that WWE is waiting to see what happens with The Hardy Boyz before giving The Usos a WrestleMania opponent.
The Hardy Boyz were successful as tag team champions and singles wrestlers in WWE, with Jeffy Hardy having multiple world title reigns. They had spent the last few years in TNA, and Matt Hardy’s “broken” character became one of the most popular in all of professional wrestling.
Several wrestlers have gone to WWE soon after leaving TNA in recent years. Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe joined NXT, while AJ Styles came to WWE after he had been gone from TNA for a little more than two years.
Kurt Angle is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on March 30 after leaving TNA last year. He was a top star in WWE while Matt and Jeff were with the company, and it would be surprising if he didn’t have another WWE match before he retires.
It's possible that The Hardy Boyz could appear on WWE TV without ever signing a deal to return to WWE's main roster. Pro Wrestling Sheet reported Wednesday night that WWE has been in discussions to potentially purchase ROH and air the promotion's shows on the WWE Network.
