Will Meghan Markle Spend Her Birthday With Prince Harry Following Engagement Rumors?

Although Meghan Markle’s birthday is days away, it looks like the “Suits” actress plans to celebrate overseas and may spend that time with boyfriend Prince Harry.

Markle was spotted in London’s Waterloo station on Thursday evening and reportedly went relatively unnoticed by fellow travelers, according to HELLO! Online. While it is unknown how long she has been in the city, the actress is said to be traveling with her mother Doria Radlan.

Markle is typically based in Toronto, Canada, where she films her show, which has been shooting its seventh season. Being unnoticed during her most recent trip to London may have come as a relief to Markle seeing as special security measures were forced to be taken on the set of the series once she started dating the prince.

In May, an insider told Us Weekly that Markle’s relationship caused security issues on set and special measures had to be taken to protect her and the show. “As soon as it came out they were dating, everyone was warned to stop talking or they would be fired,” the source said.

The actress’ name no longer appears on shoot schedules in regards to her safety, however, those close to production don’t expect the strict rules to last too long. “No one gets the impression she’s staying on the show much longer. They believe she’s going to marry Harry,” the insider said.

There have been several reports regarding the status of the couple’s relationship and how quickly they are ready to take things to the next level. Some sources close to the royal believe that he will get down on one knee and ask for her hand in marriage on her 36th birthday, which she will celebrate Aug. 4.

Insiders believe that Prince Harry is rumored to be proposing next month because friends think he wants to have positive feelings when reflecting on the month of August.

“He feels getting engaged will lift that gloom forever because he will be able to associate August with something joyful,” the insider said. The prince is said to feel sad during the month because his mother, Princess Diana, was killed in a car accident on Aug. 31, 1997.

The 32-year-old often speaks fondly of his late mother. “She was our guardian, friend and protector. She never once allowed her unfaltering love for us to go unspoken or un-demonstrated. Behind the media glare, to us, two children, she was quite simply the best mother in the world,” he said during a speech given in honor of the 10-year anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.

In an interview that aired during the documentary “Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy,” Harry expressed that he was not happy with the way he handled his last conversation with his mother prior to her death.

“If I’d known that that was the last time I was going to speak to my mother the things that I would – the things I would have said to her. All I do remember regretting for the rest of my life how short that phone call is. Looking back now, I have to live with that for the rest of my life,” he said.

Although an August proposal isn’t confirmed for Markle and Prince Harry, sources tell E! News that an engagement between the two is “fast approaching.”

“They talk about their future plans together all the time. There’s no doubt that he won’t propose before the year is out and it won’t come as a surprise to Meghan,” an insider said.

For now, fans of the private couple will have to keep their eyes peeled to see if Markle starts rocking a new accessory on her left ring finger following her birthday celebration.
