Will Princess Beatrice, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi Wed At Villa Cetinale In Tuscany?
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are rumored to tie the knot at Villa Cetinale in Tuscany.
A photo of Princess Beatrice’s mom, Sarah Ferguson, standing outside Villa Cetinale was recently released online. Fergie’s chauffer uploaded the photo of the Duchess of York on the Instagram page of the Villa.
The chauffeur also tagged the events company Iles Events, which specializes in destination weddings. A villa for rent is priced at over $28,000 for a week’s stay. An additional fee will be charged for wedding packages.
Other than the possible venue of Princess Beatrice’s wedding, royal author Ingrid Seward also said that Prince Andrew and Fergie’s eldest daughter will most likely tie the knot next spring.
“They’re going to get married – I was told by a member of the royal family. I think a wedding as early as next spring or summer is likely,” she told Hello! Magazine.
But until today, there has been no confirmation from the palace regarding Princess Beatrice’s wedding date and venue.
Meanwhile, a royal expert recently said that Princess Beatrice might have to rush her wedding to Mozzi so that her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, could already have a baby.
Princess Eugenie tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank last year, but until today, no pregnancy announcement has been made. The royal expert said that Princess Eugenie might be giving way so that her pregnancy won’t overshadow her older sister’s upcoming wedding.
Decades ago, Princess Margaret also did a similar thing for Queen Elizabeth II. In 1960, Her Majesty’s youngest daughter got engaged to Antony Armstrong-Jones, and the royal couple received the Queen’s blessing to tie the knot.
But since the monarch was pregnant with Prince Andrew at that time, she requested Princess Margaret to postpone her wedding announcement. After Prince Andrew was born, Princess Margaret waited for an entire week before she made the announcement.
The late royal also refused to overshadow her older sister’s son’s birth.
