CBS is airing the Season 9 finale of “Hawaii Five-0” tonight, but the network doesn’t plan on letting go of the action series just yet.

Last week, CBS renewed six dramas, including “Hawaii Five-0.” The long-running series will return with Season 10 in the fall, which is also when the recently-renewed “SEAL Team,” “S.W.A.T.,” “Madam Secretary” and “Bull” will come back with their new seasons. “MacGyver” isn’t on the fall schedule with the others, but it hasn’t been canceled, either. It earned a Season 2 renewal, but is being held until midseason.

“Hawaii Five-0” will continue to air on Fridays when Season 10 premieres with episode 1 in fall 2019, but it’ll be at a new time. Recently, the series has been moving its air time around once in a while, but it’ll now stay at 8 p.m. EDT. “Magnum P.I.” will air after it at 9 p.m. EDT, with “Blue Bloods” following at 10 p.m. EDT.

Tonight, directed by Eagle Egilsson and written by Matt Wheeler and David Wolkove, Season 9, episode 25 of the action drama, titled “Hana Mao 'ole ka ua o Waianae,” sees the team in a time crunch to get to Aaron Wright (Joey Lawrence).

“Five-0 continues to hunt down escaped criminal Aaron Wright before he can sell cyber-weapons to the highest bidder,” the synopsis reveals. “Also, the lives of McGarrett [Alex O’Loughlin] and the team are put in danger when a visitor comes to headquarters to make amends.”

Jimmy Buffett returns as Frank Bama in “Hana Mao 'ole ka ua o Waianae,” which is Hawaiian for “Endlessly Pours the Rain of Waianae.”

Catch the Season 9 finale of “Hawaii Five-0” at a special time of 10 p.m. EDT on Friday on CBS.
