It’s almost time for the “Riverdale” Season 3 finale, but fans of the CW series have nothing to worry about when it comes to the future of the show.

After the finale episode airs tonight, there will still be plenty more drama, mystery and craziness to come because the network renewed “Riverdale” for Season 4 back in January. CW president Mark Pedowitz made the announcement during the TCA winter press tour, where he also revealed that nine other CW shows, including “Arrow” and “Supernatural,” had also avoided cancellation.

“The early renewal of these signature CW series gives us a head start on laying out the 2019-2020 season, and this is just the beginning,” Pedowitz said, according to Deadline. “These shows provide a strong foundation for our multiplatform programming strategy, and we look forward to building on this with even more returning and new shows as we approach the May upfront.”

A few months later, and the CW’s May upfront presentation is only a day away. The network’s expected to announce its fall TV schedule during the event in New York City on Thursday.

In the meantime, “Riverdale” fans still have the Season 3 finale (episode 22), titled “Chapter Fifty-Seven: Survive the Night,” to check out. Hopefully, it’ll answer some of the major remaining questions: Is Jason Blossom really the Gargoyle King? Will The Farm finally be exposed for what it truly is?

“After receiving mysterious invitations, Archie (KJ Apa), Betty (Lili Reinhart), Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) band together to confront the evils of their past once and for all,” the synopsis reveals of what’s to come. “Meanwhile, chaos ensues at The Farm after Edgar (guest star Chad Michael Murray) makes a chilling announcement.”

The Season 3 finale of “Riverdale,” which was directed by Rachel Talalay and written by Roberto Aguierra-Sacasa and Michael Grassi, airs on The CW on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT.
