Winter TV Premiere Dates 2016: Watch Season Premieres Of ‘American Idol,’ ‘Mike & Molly’ And More On Wednesday, Jan. 6
Winter TV premieres continue on Wednesday, Jan. 6. With the weather plummeting on the East Coast, it’s the perfect time to settle on the couch for brand new episodes of your favorite shows.
Highlights for Wednesday evening include the final season premiere of “American Idol” at 8 p.m. EST on Fox. For those that have followed the reality competition series from its start in 2002, the 15th and final season will act as a tribute to the entire series. Viewers will welcome back some familiar faces, while watching new talent take the stage.
Meanwhile at 8:30 p.m. EST on CBS, another show will be starting its farewell season – “Mike & Molly.” Fans of the series, which stars Billy Gardell and Melissa McCarthy, only recently found out that the sixth season would be its last. Gardell and McCarthy’s co-star, Rondi Reed, posted the announcement on Facebook in mid-December.
