Very few people feel a connection on the first date or introduce the person to family and friends. All these odds were in favor of an Atlanta woman until the date night took a violent turn.

Brittany Correri met Benjamin Fancher through the online dating app Hinge and the duo went on their first date Wednesday following which she was reportedly assaulted.

She said the date went smoothly, and she even introduced him to her friends and family, but Fancher became violent after they left Hide Lounge in Atlanta, reported 11Alive.

“He started beating me in my head, punching me everywhere - my forehead, my temples, my cheeks, jaws, throat, arms, my back. He was just telling me that the date cost too much and I’m not worth that,” Correri told 11Alive.

The victim told 11Alive it felt like the situation was set up to harm her. She added Fancher even pulled out a gun and threatened to kill her.

“He threatened to shoot me. That I picked the wrong white boy,” WSB-TV quoted Correri, as saying.

Correrri said he was not letting her out of the car and drove around for about an hour. He finally stopped the car on 1100 block of Howell Mill Road and pulled her out of the vehicle by her hair.

The Atlanta Police responded to the emergency call from Correri at about 6:30 a.m. ET, Thursday. Atlanta police officer Steve Avery said the cops met Correri at the scene where she informed them about the attack.

The police were told by a security guard at a building that she saw a man trying to pull a woman out of a white BMW and then drive off. The authorities have issued a wanted appeal for Fancher, reported news19.
