World No Tobacco Day 2019 Quotes: 16 Motivational Sayings To Quit Smoking
May 31 marks the World No Tobacco Day, which was introduced by the World Health Organization (WHO) and its global partners as “an opportunity to raise awareness on the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco use and second-hand smoke exposure, and to discourage the use of tobacco in any form.”
This year’s theme of World No Tobacco Day is "tobacco and lung health." The campaign will aim to focus on the negative impact tobacco has on people’s lung health, from cancer to chronic respiratory disease, as well as the fundamental role lungs play for the health and well-being of humans.
Here are a few quotes from Brainy Quote, highlighting the adverse effects of tobacco on humans and the benefits of quitting smoking:

11. “My mother, Marnie Fahr Steyer, was a lifelong smoker - up to three packs of unfiltered cigarettes a day. I like to think that, if Mom were still with us today, she'd be happy with the strides we've made to protect our children from the ongoing health crisis of tobacco addiction.” — Tom Steyer
