World Photography Day 2022: Inspirational Quotes For Photographers
With social media platforms going abuzz with constant uploads of every animate or inanimate subjects, the world has more pictures now than it ever had.
A photograph captures a brief moment in time. If you cut it just right, a picture will reveal the unvarnished truth of a person's identity, aspirations, and current emotions.
Photographs are frozen memories, evidence of the moment an individual was awestruck by something and are significant in everyone's life — a direct window into the past.
Every year on Aug. 19, World Photography Day is observed to honour both amateur and professional photographers. On this occasion, shutterbugs from all over the world have the opportunity to mark this day for their craft.
The idea of commemorating photography started after the French government gifted the world the Joseph Nicéphore Nipce and Louis Daguerre-invented daguerreotype method on Aug. 19, 1839.

The dragging of captured moments into the future; moments that should have been allowed to be evaporate into the past; should exist only in memories, glimpsed through the fog of events that came after. Photographs force us to see people before their future weighed them down...." - Kate Morton, The House at Riverton
