“One Tree Hill” alums Chad Michael Murray and Torrey DeVitto reunite for Hallmark Channel’s “Write Before Christmas,” a new Countdown to Christmas 2019 movie premiering Sunday night.

The two, who played Lucas Scott and Nanny Carrie, respectively, are not the only “OTH” actors in the new Hallmark flick, which is the third one for Murray and the second for DeVitto. Drew Seeley, who had a short arc on the long-running WB/CW drama, also stars in the movie, which is his fourth Hallmark film.

The most recent Hallmark movies for the actors are 2018’s “Road to Christmas” for Murray, 2014’s “Best Christmas Party Ever” for DeVitto and 2018’s “A Christmas for the Books” for Seeley.

For those who haven’t seen “One Tree Hill” or any of the just-mentioned movies, Murray also was on The CW’s “Riverdale” and Fox’s “Star” and in “A Cinderella Story” and “Freaky Friday.” DeVitto stars on NBC’s “Chicago Med” and was on “Pretty Little Liars,” “The Vampire Diaries” and “Beautiful People.”

As for Seeley, he starred in “A Cinderella Story” and “Lovestruck: the Musical” and was on the short-lived TBS dramedy, “Glory Daze.” Plus, fun fact, for all of the Hearties and Hallmarkies out there, Seeley is related to “When Calls the Heart” star Chris McNally. The two are first cousins, and McNally actually had a small role in “Another Cinderella Story.” Recently, Seeley even tweeted about hoping the two will get the chance play rivals in a Hallmark movie at some point.

For now, fans can enjoy a “One Tree Hill” onscreen family reunion with the premiere of “Write Before Christmas.” Here’s what the new Christmas movie is all about:

“When Jessica (DeVitto) is dumped by her boyfriend right before Christmas, she sends the five cards meant for him to five people who changed her life and somehow sets off a chain reaction of love,” the synopsis begins. “Aunt Lila (Lolita Davidovich), who raised Jessica, drops her card at the mailbox and Tom (Grant Show), her neighbor, picks it up, sparking a romance. The card Jessica sends to her brother in the army motivates him to take a chance at romance, while Jessica’s friend, who’s been encouraging her to try out for the symphony, finds inspiration from her card to make an important life decision. Jessica’s card to Jax (Seeley), a washed-up boy band star, tells him his music got her through her parents’ death and Jax’s musical inspiration is rekindled.

The synopsis continues: “The fifth goes to Jessica’s music teacher who inspired her to play cello. Out of the country, she has her son Luke (Murray) read her mail and he is so moved by Jessica’s card, she tells Luke to give Jessica her vintage cello. As it turns out, Luke’s as gun-shy about dating as Jessica, but after a six-hour first date that includes playing Mr. and Mrs. Kringle at a group home, their attraction is sealed. But just when it seems love has won, misunderstandings occur, and Fate must step in once again.”

Directed by Pat Williams and written by Neal and Tippi Dobrofsky, the Hallmark movie’s cast also includes Madison Smith (Carter), Lanie McAuley (Angie), Geoff Gustafson (Todd), Kimberley Shoniker (Mimi), David Quinlan (John), Theresa Wong (Ruth), Max Archibald (Joshua), Jay Hindle (Wes), Paula Giroday (Leslie), Calix Fraser (Billy), Vera Ann Frederickson (Daisy), Garfield Wilson (Perry), Johnny Ghorbani (Tim) and Carlo Fortin (Joey).

“Write Before Christmas” premieres on Hallmark Channel on Sunday at 8 p.m. EST.
