WWE 2012 Extreme Rules Results: Did John Cena defeat Brock Lesnar? Complete Recap of the Pay-Per-View Event
The first WWE Pay-Per-View event after Wrestlemania aired on Sunday night and didn't disappoint. Extreme Rules featured multiple title matches, and the highly anticipated John Cena vs. Brock Lensar fight.
Lesnar returned to the WWE for the first time since 2004, and showed no mercy on Cena. Cena was bloodied from the start, after taking an elbow to the face, and seemed to have seriously injured his arm. When the match was over, Cena spoke to the crowd, and announced that he would be taking a break from the WWE.
