WWE co-CEO Stephanie McMahon and Paul Heyman reportedly share a cordial working relationship.

Heyman is the current special counsel for Undisputed WWE and Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Stephanie was named co-CEO following her father's, Vince McMahon, retirement Friday.

A few weeks ago, the wrestling fraternity received a shock when it was announced that Vince would be stepping down from his duties as chairman and CEO of WWE.

There have been uncertainties about Heyman's role and future in the WWE Company for some time now. In 2019, WWE appointed him as executive director of RAW, but he was removed from the position the subsequent year.

During a recent PWTorchVIP.com audio show on a WWE episode, Wade Keller, an American professional wrestling journalist, discussed the working relationship between Heyman and Stephanie. He claimed that while there had been several disputes between the two, the duo shares a cordial working relationship.

"He [Paul Heyman] has worked with WWE and he butted heads with Stephanie McMahon. As I've talked about in recent months, it seems like to people that have seen them that Heyman and Stephanie get along. You know like, genuinely, there's a chemistry and a dynamic between them that's very positive. And that's very different than, you know, 15-20 years ago. So, Heyman is someone to watch. He's really, really smart. And he is a wrestling guy," Keller said, according to WrestlingNews.

Keller went on to add that Triple H, executive vice president of talent relations and Stephanie may include Heyman in their inner circle.

"Depending on how things shake out, Triple H and Stephanie may be leaning on Paul, and he could be in their inner circle. And that would be quite a powerful trio of people who could take WWE into the next era on the wrestling side, Nick on the business side, and then Stephanie, Paul and Paul... So that's something to watch," added Keller.

As the WWE is set to enter a new era under the leadership of co-CEOs Stephanie and Nick Khan, Heyman will look to play a key role in this new chapter.
