  • Big E says Vince McMahon wouldn't like the idea of him facing Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods
  • Big E's New Day stablemates are having a big push on SmackDown
  • Big E embarks on a singles run on Raw as the WWE Champion

The New Day are one of the successful stables in WWE, but they are now taking on different paths.

Big E now reigns as the WWE Champion as part of the Raw roster, while Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are having a rejuvenated run every Friday night on SmackDown.

However, most know that they all could cross paths somewhere down the road. Kingston and Woods are now getting respective pushed, and a match pitting the three stars against each other would make sense.

However, Big E feels that it would be a bad idea, stressing that no less than top brass Vince McMahon will unlikely be happy about the idea.

“No. No, no, no. We’ve talked about this before, and I think we’d be giggling the whole time. Imagine me putting in a headlock on Kofi. I would just be laughing, like, ‘Kofi, I got you in a headlock. Isn’t this funny?'” he told Scott Warren of RN Pro Wrestling in London when WWE staged its United Kingdom tour.

Big E feels the best storyline for them is to just compete as a team, a collective effort against other groups.

In 2018, Woods shared how he had no desire to leave The New Day and asserted that it would be best to stick together as a stable.

“I have no desire to leave The New Day. We can pursue a singles title while being together. Besides, if you have two friends willing to help you, that’s gonna make it easier for you to become a singles champion,” Woods said.
