KEY POINTS
- Braun Strowman might return soon
- Strowman missed WWE's Sunday live event in Florida
- Drew McIntyre replaced Strowman to take on Universal Champion
- Strowman last fought in WWE's Survivor Series
"The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman, who recently withdrew from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Sunday Live event, could make a comeback soon since he, reportedly, did not get any serious injury at all.
Drew McIntyre, who went on to face the WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt in Jacksonville, Florida, replaced Strowman.
According to a news report, Strauman's injury is not particularly serious as he is expected to be back in the ring in time for Friday night's WWE SmackDown. The American professional wrestler, who was proclaimed as the 2018 Greatest Royal Rumble Championship winner, last fought in the WWE in the Survivor Series main event.
Before that, one of his famous fights was against boxer Tyson Furry. Strowman took on Furry, who was making his WWE debut, at WWE's Crown Jewel event in Riyadh. Unfortunately, the WWE superstar ended up losing the fight at the time.
The injured wrestler, Strowman, has also not been named in the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view as well.
It is believed that Strowman is suffering from a sore hip, WWE reported, but it is understood that, in reality, the former 'Money in the Bank' winner is experiencing back spasms.
A former member of the Wyatt Family, Strowmann has been involved with some excellent fights with Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, and The Shield members -- Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. However, he has the unwanted record of not successfully cashing it in.
Known for his brute force, Strowman holds the record for the most Royal Rumble match eliminations (13) and has also eliminated the most wrestlers in a single Elimination Chamber match (5). A two-time Tag team champion, Strowman has headlined many pay-per-views in the past and, if fit, he might be included in the upcoming TLC event as well.
