WWE Reveals Superstar Roman Reigns’ New Role [Video]

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Roman Reigns is set to become a part of Disney’s animated series “Elena of Avalor.” The wrestler, who fights under the SmackDown brand, will voice the character of Kizin on the upcoming new episode that will air Friday.

“Roman is such a giant presence in and out of the ring that we knew he’d be the perfect person to play a magical giant on ‘Elena of Avalor.’ He brought an arena full of humor and heart to the role, and we all had a blast working with him in the studio,” show creator and executive producer Craig Gerber, as quoted by WWE.

Roman Reigns took to Twitter to reveal the news. “Before I come back to #TheYard on #Smackdown, I'm bringing Kizin to #ElenaOfAvalor on @Disney tomorrow! Great to bring this character to life and put some bass in that voice!!!” the Big Dog wrote on his official Twitter account.

Earlier, Australian wrestler Buddy Murphy admitted that he believed Roman Reigns is one of the best in the world. Speaking with talkSPORT, Murphy opened up about his experiences wrestling with the Big Dog.

Speaking about his SmackDown fights against Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, Murphy said,” Yeah, it was awesome to be in that position. First of all, with the Roman match and being thrown into the mix with him – Roman was awesome to work with. He kind of let me put my own little spin on it."

"It was more a Buddy Murphy match, so to speak. I know a lot of people in the internet wrestling community give Roman a lot of hate, ‘he can’t wrestle’ and whatever – Roman is one of the best wrestlers in the world and you can mark my word on that.”
