KEY POINTS

  • A Brock Lesnar return at SummerSlam 2021 holds low chances of happening
  • Bobby Lashley is the running candidate to welcome Lesnar back to the fold
  • Vince McMahon is reportedly willing to pay Lesnar's huge salary

Brock Lesnar is someone WWE fans would love to see back in action, and there are speculations he could come back by the SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

Unfortunately, that does not appear to be on the cards and there are several things to consider. At the top of the list is the money factor.

Although Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline stated that company chairman Vince McMahon is willing to pay big money for the “Beast Incarnate,” there is the question of whether it would be wise to bring back the former WWE Champion.

Other than that, there are storylines to consider. Most are speculating a potential showdown between Lesnar and Bobby Lashley, a big event that makes sense.

It would be a big dream match that WWE fans would be delighted to see. However, there is another storyline that needs to be closed first.

This is regarding Roman Reigns, who is managed by Paul Heyman at the moment.

Most know that Heyman had ties with Lesnar in the past, making it a script that would make sense.

The 55-year-old would be at the center of that storyline where anything can happen.

Heyman could turn on Reigns and rejoin his former client or even stand by the "Tribal Chief "against the “Beast Incarnate.”

Scriptwriters could always tweak the storyline, opting to showcase a Lashley vs. Lesnar feud first.

That is unlikely to be settled in one match, meaning the colossal showdown could be a series of encounters.

Assuming this is the route that WWE takes, Lesnar may not take the title from Lashley completely.

It could see an exchange of title reigns between the two behemoths, with the culmination seeing Lesnar diverting his attention to the Universal Championship of Reigns.

There is plenty to consider as far as seeing Lesnar return to the WWE ring. But for now, the only thing certain is that it is not happening at SummerSlam 2021, which takes place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Aug. 21.
