People working on the creatives side of production needs to get their creative juices flowing continuously and anything that interferes that momentum could ruin an idea that’s progressively developing.

That’s what former WWE writer Jensen Karp told Swings & Mrs is trying to show as he reveals the culture that he’s experienced in while working with the promotion behind the camera.

During the interview, he opened up about the locker room culture that he has experienced during his time with the promotion which, for him, isn’t doing any good especially being part of the creatives. Instead of dealing with it, he revealed that he just walked away.

“Well, I didn’t. I left,” said Karp who’s also a book author. He also opened up about his relationship with former WWE star John Bradshaw Layfield a.ka. JBL. “I’ve been pretty vocal about Bradshaw, and I haven’t hid it on Twitter. I think he was, in the grand scheme of things, nice to me compared to other people. But calling me ‘s---head” for six months and not wanting to learn my real name, it’s so degrading,” he said per a transcript posted on Ringside News.

The “bullying” he’s received also sparked some speculations that JBL’s treatment to people caused former commentator Mauro Ranallo to quit the company as another report says. The incident, according to him, affected his performance with the company. “You know I have to be creative for this show. The more you make me feel bad, it makes it bad content. So, you’re affecting the show,” said Karp.

This revelation also opened up another incident involving WWE Chairman Vince McMahon where the CEO is throwing almonds at people who fall asleep while on their private plane. “So I was so nervous to be on that plane that I never fell asleep on it,” said the author of “Kanye West Owes Me $300”.

He previously shared his experience working for the company on a YouTube video where he was the one responsible for the “labiagytis” segment years back for Mr. McMahon.
