  • Brock Lesnar could win the WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber event before facing Roman Reigns for the Universal Title at WrestleMania
  • Ronda Rousey's path to a title-versus-title match at WrestleMania is still unclear
  • Having two title-versus-title matches with former UFC stars to headline WWE's biggest show could attract attention

WWE might be setting up two title-versus-title matches at WrestleMania 38 after the fallout from this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

On-screen authority figure Adam Pearce announced that Bobby Lashley will be defending his WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber match at the upcoming namesake event on February 19 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Brock Lesnar, the winner of the men’s Royal Rumble match, then interrupted the proceedings and challenged Lashley to a match on Raw for the WWE Championship as he announced that he will be facing Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.

Pearce then declared that Lesnar will be one of the entrants in the Elimination Chamber match and will be joined by Seth Rollins, Austin Theory, Riddle and AJ Styles after all of them won their matches later on in the show.

Should Lesnar win the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber, this bucks the early idea of a Triple Threat at WrestleMania that features Reigns, Lashley and Lesnar with both titles on the line.

However, Twitter user WrestleVotes reported that the WWE Championship might fall into the hands of Riddle, with a match between him and RK-Bro tag team partner Randy Orton happening at WrestleMania.

To close out the show, women’s Royal Rumble match winner Ronda Rousey entered the ring to a loud pop from the crowd, but she remained stern and pensive.

Rousey shared that she had been thinking about which champion to challenge at WrestleMania.

Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch then sauntered to the ring and mocked Rousey on the mic before asking her who she will face at the “Show of Shows”, to which the former mixed martial artist responded with an arm drag and revealing that she will reveal her choice on the February 4 episode of SmackDown.

As Rousey made her way to the back, WWE Hall of Famer Lita then came to the ring and challenged Lynch to a match at the Elimination Chamber event, which the champion accepted.

Though the signs are unclear yet as to how WWE will set up a title-versus-title match for Rousey, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair could drop her title at the Elimination Chamber and then "Rowdy" will declare her pursuit of double-champion status by facing Lynch at WrestleMania.

The two former UFC veterans will be headlining WrestleMania 38 and are set to bring an air of excitement to the title picture for the promotion’s biggest show on its calendar.
