Roman Reigns is reportedly set to face Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg for the very first time in the WWE.

With the WrestleMania season underway in full action, the WWE Company is preparing to showcase several big names and returning stars, including Goldberg.

Goldberg, who is a two-time Universal Champion, will face off against the current holder of the title, Reigns, at the WWE Elimination Chamber in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Feb. 19, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select.

The 55-year-old wrestler was initially drafted to fight against Reigns two years ago when the former was the Universal Champion. Goldberg was ready to put his title on the line and fight Reigns in "The Show of Shows." However, Reigns had decided to skip WrestleMania 26 amid the coronavirus pandemic. He did not return to WWE until August and since then, he has not looked back.

When Reigns pulled out, Braun Strowman replaced him at the last minute and defeated Goldberg for the title.

Months later, The Tribal Chief beat The Fiend and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat match at Payback 2020 to win the Universal Championship. He has held the title ever since, becoming the longest-reigning champion in the title's history.

The last time Goldberg competed inside the squared circle was back in October last year at Crown Jewel, where he won against Bobby Lashley.

Goldberg has only one match remaining on his WWE contract, according to Ringside News, which apparently would end after the fight against Reigns in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, there have been rumors about Reigns taking on Brock Lesnar in a"‘Title vs. Title" fight at WrestleMania. However, it has been reported that the WWE Company has no such plans. Lesnar recently lost his WWE Championship title to Lashley.

Interestingly, it was Reigns who helped Lashley defeat the Beast Incarnate at the Royal Rumble to win his second title.
