WWE Rumors: Stone Cold Steve Austin Mad About WWE Blurring His T-Shirt
KEY POINTS
- Stone Cold’s Blurred T-Shirt Says “F--- Fear, Drink Beer”
- The video shown was an anniversary clip of him being F5’d by Brock Lesnar
- He went to social media about it, saying he’s doing it for the family
It may be just a very short video clip but for Austin 3:16, it’s more than just 11 seconds because Stone Cold said so.
On a throwback video that the WWE Network has posted on social media, there’s visibly an area that they are trying to hide and Stone Cold Steve Austin isn’t really happy about the move. Based on Ringside News reports, “The Rattlesnake” felt like something about him was not being shown by WWE when they blurred the shirt that he was wearing.
The video posted was a video of Brock Lesnar putting him up and blasting him with an F5 which was caught on camera back in 2004. Austin was wearing his shirt with a design that says “F--- Fear, Drink Beer”
Austin was a crowd drawer during those times and is also a moneymaker for the company when it comes to his wrestling merchandise but even if it is now a bit inappropriate in 2020, the young fans now have no idea of how the iconic shirt looks like.
Austin is one of the key figures in the Attitude Era and was inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009 alongside “The Dragon” Ricky Steamboat, “Cowboy” Bill Watts, Howard Finkel, and Koko B. Ware. He’s won the WWE Championship six times, WWE Tag Team Titles four times with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, and The Undertaker, and WWE Intercontinental Championship twice.
He is also the host of the Stone Cold Podcast that ran for three seasons from 2014 to 2016 and he continued doing his podcast through the Steve Austin Show – where his last three guests were fellow Hall of Famer and tag-team partner Shawn Michaels, Rob Van Dam, and Barbie Blank, popularly known as Kelly Kelly. He was also able to bring The Undertaker to his podcast once.
