Xiaomi Mi4i Preorders Started On Gear Best For $284 With Free Shipping Worldwide

The new Xiaomi Mi4i, an upgraded version of the Xiaomi Mi4, was exclusively launched in India, but global buyers can avail the device from third party online retailers like Gear Best. At present, the Chinese retailer is receiving preorders with a price tag of $283.99.

Compared to the predecessor model, the Xiaomi Mi4i sports a different design, and it wears a polycarbonate chassis, according to a GSM Arena review. The device is fitted with a 5-inch display that offers a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and produces a pixel density of 441 ppi.

The Xiaomi Mi4i features a Snapdragon 615 SoC, which includes four cores of Cortex A53 processor running at 1.7 GHz and another four cores of Cortex A53 processor, clocking at 1 GHz. The chipset also includes Adreno 405 graphics and is assisted by 2 GB of RAM to deliver smooth performance.

The rear camera of the Xiaomi Mi4i is of 13-megapixel with a dual-LED flash and the front-facing camera is of 5-megapixel. It is a dual-SIM handset and is available in internal storage versions like 16 GB and 32 GB. There is no external storage slot on the device.

The handset is shipped with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop that is overlaid with MIUI 6 skin from Xiaomi. Android Central reported that the newly launched MIUI 7 skin can be installed on the Xiaomi Mi4i handset.

The Mi4i is available with connectivity features like v4.1 Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and 3G. It features a massive non-removable battery of 3,120 mAh capacity.

Gear Best has listed the white and black colored edition of 32 GB Xiaomi Mi4i on preorders for $284. The preorders that started on Aug. 21 will end on Sept. 10. The retailer is also offering free shipping service for worldwide customers.
