The flagship Xiaomi Mi4 successor, the Mi5, is gearing up to hit store shelves. A new report gives detailed specifications of both the Mi5 and the bigger sibling Mi5 Plus. It also gives the price of the device in its home country, China.

Xiaomi Mi5 Specifications

According to the report uploaded in Weibo, the Xiaomi Mi5 specifications include a 5.2-inch QHD LCD display. The screen will be protected by Corning’s latest Gorilla Glass 4 and will feature 2.5D edges. The handset is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor. The RAM configuration is unknown at this point, notes GSM Arena.

The Mi5 will sport a 16 MP rear-facing camera. There also will be a 13 MP front-facing snapper for selfies. It will house a 3,000 mAh battery unit with quick-charging capability. The smartphone reportedly will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

Xiaomi Mi5 Plus Specifications

The Mi5 Plus will feature a 5.7-inch QHD display, similar to the Mi Note Pro. The bigger device will be powered by Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 820 chip. On the camera end, the handset will sport a 23 MP rear-facing sensor with OIS and laser autofocus support; the front-facing camera is 12 MP. The battery capacity is also better at 3,500 mAh unit when compared to the smaller sibling. The handset will feature an all-metal body.

Xiaomi Mi5 Price

The handset will cost 2,399 yuan ($386). The price point of the Mi5 Plus is unknown at this point. The Chinese tech giant has not confirmed the Xiaomi Mi5 or Mi5 Plus specifications and features.
