Yankees Star A-Rod's Neglected Property Comes Under Fire

An apartment complex in Florida, which happens to be owned by New York Yankees star A-Rod (Alex Rodriguez), caught the media attention when its residents reportedly filed numerous complaints about safety code violations with the city officials last week.

Among various complaints were the swampy pool, holes in walls, rusty pipes and overflowing trash, according to TMZ’s report. The pool has been drained since then.

Mr. Rodriguez's real estate portfolio is handled by a professional team and problems brought to his attention will be addressed in a timely manner, A-Rod's rep told TMZ. Over the last 12 months, several hundred thousand dollars in improvements have been made to the property.
