Drinkware maker Yeti has recalled about 241,500 Rambler travel mugs because a magnetic slide mechanism on the lid can accidentally pop off, and inadvertently spill hot liquid out on someone.

Yeti has received two reports of the mechanism ejecting when filled with a hot liquid. There have been no reports of injuries, according to the announcement from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recall applies only to the 20-ounce Rambler travel mug with Stronghold lid.

“YETI is issuing a voluntary product recall of the Rambler 20 oz Travel Mug with Stronghold Lid. The lid’s MagSlider and mug contents can be expelled if the mug is filled with hot liquid, sealed with the lid, and agitated or inverted, which can pose an injury hazard," the company said in a statement.

Yeti also added that, “If you purchased a 20 Ounce Travel Mug with Stronghold Lid you should stop using the product immediately.”

The Austin, Texas-based company is issuing a full refund to anyone who purchased the faulty mug.

“The Stronghold lid should be returned to YETI for a full refund of the product, including any associated customization or logo fees that were incurred at the time of purchase. Please complete the 'Return Form' below to return your Stronghold lid," Yeti said.

Yeti told CNN that the recalled mug was previously available on its website from Oct. 1 to Oct. 9 and that just 15,000 mugs were purchased.

When returning the product, Yeti just asks for the lid and not the whole mug in the"voluntary Recall Form."
