The De Vere House, best known as the character Harry Potter’s childhood home in the successful fantasy franchise, is now available on Airbnb to stay in. The average cost is about $142 per night.

According to Cosmopolitan, that price will get you “two four-poster bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms,” and a “private guest sitting room with log fire and courtyard garden.” In the morning, you will be served a full English breakfast. It is worth noting that according to the official listing for the England, United Kingdom, residence, pets, children, and those with mobility issues may not find the house "suitable" due to its age and layout.

Potter fans should also know that this is the home of Lily and James Potter in Godric’s Hollow, not the Dursely’s home on Privet Drive. This is the infamous location where Lord Voldemort murdered the Potters, setting off the events in J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" series. The Dursley’s home is indeed real and it was up for sale in 2016. So you, unfortunately, wouldn’t be able to visit the cupboard under the stairs.

The De Vere House was originally a 14th-century hall house that has a long history. It lived through the Battle of Bosworth and has undergone many different renovations, the latest being a partial deconstruction and reconstruction in 1929.

The building is located in a small, medieval town called Lavenham, in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. For quite some time, the De Vere House served as a bed and breakfast before the era of Airbnb was ushered in.

The website claims that it is a 5-star establishment with a 2010 Gold Award given by Visit Britain.
