‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chelsea Makes A Horrifying Discovery
She thought the man she had found love with had stopped investigating her best friend for murder. However, Chelsea is about to learn that Nick still had major suspicions about Chloe on the Wednesday, April 5 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Following Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) bachelorette party, Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) will become aware that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) pulled Chloe into a back office, and that Nick was asking Chloe a lot of questions. Previously on the CBS soap, Chelsea had told Nick she wanted him to stop looking for ways to pin Adam’s death on Chloe, and the new information will make her realize he went back on his word. Now, in a preview clip for the newest episode, she will confront him about what he’s done.
“You said you were through accusing Chloe of killing Adam, but you used that party to entrap her last night didn’t you?” She asks him in the clip.
Nick won’t deny what he tried to do, and will decide to let Chelsea know about the evidence he found that Chloe tried to dispose of. However, even while staring at the tranquilizer gun and the wrench, Chelsea will refuse to believe that her best friend was capable of murdering her husband, and she will warn Nick he’s risking everything they’ve built together by continuing to investigate. She will also warn him to stay away from both her and Chloe as they prepare for the wedding.

Unfortunately for Chelsea, she may be forced to admit Nick was right when she goes to help the bride get ready for her big day. As she searches for a safety pin that’s needed to help with the dress, she will make a shocking and horrific discovery in one of Chloe’s drawers—a pair of black gloves and none other than Adam’s wedding ring. After that discovery, Chelsea will no longer be able to deny to herself that Chloe did in fact murder her husband.
“The Young and the Restless” airs 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
