‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Dina Confronts Jack About His Actions

He had escorted her to the benefit concert and they were supposed to be working on their relationship when he did so. However, after Jack pulled a disappearing act on his mother, Dina has become furious on the Wednesday, July 19 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Despite Dina (Marla Adams) revealing to Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that she was giving the bulk of her estate to Graham (Max Shippee) when she died, her children have still been trying to stay close with her on the CBS soap, in the hopes that they will eventually uncover the real reason Graham is held so highly in Dina’s mind. Jack escorted Dina to the MS benefit concert as a result, and the two were having a wonderful night together, until Jack disappeared.

Jack abandoned his mother after realizing something was wrong with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and that it had to do with her, Victor (Eric Braden) and Nick (Joshua Morrow), and a conflict within their family. Nikki asked Jack to help her get out there because she was stressed about the situation, and they went to Abbott Cabin, where they also shared a kiss.

Now, Jack will go to Dina and apologize for what he did, only to be greeted by his mother’s outrage over the lack of respect he had for her.

“I’m sorry,” he says in a preview clip.

“You should be. How dare you treat me like this?” She snaps.

When Jack tries to explain he was looking after Nikki, Dina will become even more angry, because she knows what Jack associating himself with Nikki and trying to be her hero could do, because Jack and Victor are mortal enemies. She will warn her son he’s being too risky, but when he retaliates by flaunting her own sordid past in her face, it will end with the two of them having a physical altercation.

Meanwhile, Ashley will be learning something that could be a clue about what is actually going on with Dina and Graham. At the benefit, after she realized Jack had deserted her, Dina was with Ravi (Abhi Sinha), and the young man heard her refer to Jack as Graham several times. He believes it’s a cause for concern that she seemed to be disoriented and unsure of which man had actually deserted her, and he will decide that Ashley needs to know what he’s learned.

“This is more personal than professional,” he says in the clip. “Ashley, it’s about your mother.”

Ashley will be concerned when Ravi shares the information with her, but won’t be fully convinced that it’s why she’s so dependent on Grahm just yet. But, she will concede it is worth keeping her eyes on and looking into, if it helps her understand things better.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
