'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Faith Spills About Scott And Abby

She witnessed an unexpected moment between her mother's boyfriend and another woman. Now, after becoming distant and cold towards him, Faith will finally reveal what she saw Scott doing with Abby on the Thursday, Dec. 14 episode of "The Young and the Restless.'

For the last few days, it hasn't escaped Scott's (Daniel Hall), Sharon's (Sharon Case) or Mariah's (Camryn Grimes) notice that Faith (Alivya Alyn Lind) has been cold towards Scott on the CBS soap, though Sharon has figured her younger daughter is just acting out because of the adjustment of Scott moving in with her. She had acted similarly when her father, Nick (Joshua Morrow) moved them into Chelsea's (Melissa Clare Egan) penthouse, so there doesn't seem to be anything worth worrying about, as it seems like a phase.

However, Mariah will decide there is definitely something else bugging her little sister, and will try to find out what it is. Sure enough, after she finally pressures Faith the right way, the girl will spill about what she saw, and Mariah will officially have to decide what to do with the information as a result.

As it turned out, when Faith snuck over to the park without Sharon's permission, she saw Scott there with Abby (Melissa Ordway), and hid so he wouldn't see her and report what she was doing to Sharon. However, she was the one who caught an eyeful, after Scott and Abby shared a deep and passionate kiss directly in front of her. Knowing that it means Scott has cheated, Faith has become wary around him, and that has been the true reason for her behavior.

While her sharing news of the kiss with Mariah is going to be startling enough though, neither one knows the whole story. Scott has done much more than kiss Abby, as the two also slept together when they were locked in a storage unit by Zach (Ryan Ashton) --hence their now having an inexplicable attraction to one another.

Of course, the kiss alone could be enough news to share with Sharon, and Mariah may feel obligated to share the truth with her mother, since Faith already wasn't sure she could.
