'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Jack Makes A Power Play Against Victoria
He has been after her company and hoping to acquire it for a while with no luck thus far. However, with new information about Victoria's love life in his arsenal, Jack will make a power play to make sure he can eventually get control of Brash and Sassy on the Thursday, Aug. 10 episode of "The Young and the Restless."
Thanks to Hilary (Mishael Morgan), Jack (Peter Bergmann) learned that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) had spent a night with Ben Hochman (Ben Hermes), and realized that the rival businessman could be his perfect secret ally when it came to his goal of acquiring Brash and Sassy on the CBS soap. His previous plans to get the company from Victoria have all failed, but he's now sure he's come up with a winner.

When he sees Hochman at the pool bar, Jack will approach him and try to get him on his side, encouraging him to join up, something that Ben surprisingly refuses to do at first, citing feelings he has developed for Victoria as his reason.
"I honestly like Victoria, and I'm not looking to exploit her," he says in a preview clip.
"Every man has his price," Jack replies.
Hochman will continue refusing the offer as Jack tries to entice him with the promise of a huge paycheck, but then changes tactics and makes the other man an offer he can't refuse. Promising him that if he works as a secret consultant who gives Jack inside information into the company, he will always remember what he's done, and when the time comes, he will repay the favor however he wants. That will help seal the deal for Ben, and the two will decide to officially go into the business of destroying Brash and Sassy together.
Meanwhile, Victoria will have no idea about what plans are being made behind her back, and she will find herself curious about the attraction she has had to Hochman recently. She knows something isn't right with her ever since she fell and hit her head at Nikki's (Melody Thomas Scott) concert, but still thinks there might be something worth exploring with the new man in her life, a sentiment she will express to her mother as she prepares for another date with him.

"I don't know, maybe there's something there," she says in the clip. "Maybe we should give it a try."
Eager to see her daughter move on from her past with Billy (Jason Thompson), Nikki will likely encourage Victoria to see things through. However, both women have no idea that the respective men in their lives are conspiring against Victoria, and if they ever learn the truth, it could rip both relationships completely apart.
"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
