‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Lily Questions Cane About The Merits Of Juliet’s Lawsuit
She is stunned by the news that her husband is being sued for sexual harassment by a former Brash and Sassy employee. However, considering their romantic history, Lily will find herself questioning if Cane is keeping the truth from her on the Thursday, June 8 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Cane (Daniel Goddard), after learning on the CBS soap that Juliet (Laur Allen) was suing him for sexual harassment after Victoria (Amelia Heinle) fired her from Brash and Sassy over the video mix-up with Billy (Jason Thompson), knew that she was referring to their night together in Tokyo when she claimed that she was coerced into having sex. Though their hook-up was the result of them both merely having too much to drink, the fact that they did sleep together is damaging enough, and the last thing he wants is for his co-workers, or his wife, Lily (Christel Khalil) to find out the truth.
Knowing he couldn’t keep the lawsuit from her, Cane told Lily he was being sued, but swore to her that nothing happened. However, knowing that their marriage as been rocked by infidelity before on her part, Lily will find herself questioning if he could have now done the same thing, and will specifically ask him if Juliet’s claims have merit because of something happening in Tokyo.
“Is there any way that what Juliet is talking about, that something might have happened in Tokyo?” She asks in a preview clip.
Desperate to make sure his tracks are covered, Cane will again insist to his wife that nothing happened between him and Juliet, that they only celebrated together, but parted ways afterwards. Lily will choose to believe her husband, but he may need to be careful going forward, because the truth could get out into a public forum.
Victoria will take a meeting with Michael (Christian LeBlanc), where she says she is refusing to settle the suit out of court, meaning claims, and maybe even the truth, could go public as a result.
“I take it you’re not inclines to settle, make this go away,” Michael says in the clip.
“Absolutely not,” Victoria replies.

Because things could play out in a public forum, it will spell bad news for Cane if the truth is exposed. And since Hilary (Mishael Morgan) knows that he did have sex with Juliet, even if it was consensual, and she was the one who encouraged Juliet to file the suit in the first place, it’s a very bad thing for him if it goes public. Hilary is determined to hurt Lily however she can, and the best way will be for her to report on the case on her show, something she is sure to do once it goes public.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
