'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Mariah And Tessa Search For Crystal

There is an active search going on to find her younger sister and save her from a sex ring that has infiltrated Genoa City. However, new information could prompt Tessa into making a dangerous decision on the Friday, Sept. 8 episode of "The Young and the Restless."

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) has come clean to Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Sharon (Sharon Case) and a few others recently about Crystal (Morgan Obenreder), the girl that they all know is stuck in a sex ring, being her younger sister, and she has been desperate to find her and rescue her from forced prostitution. So far though on the CBS soap, Crystal's captors have managed to keep her out of everyone's grasp, despite several attempts to try and rescue her. Because of this, Tessa is beginning to grow more morose about the situation, and will continue feeling less hopeful, prompting Mariah to try and convince her that they will have success.

"We are going to find your sister," she says in a preview clip.

"How?" Tessa cries.

"We will find a way," Mariah answers.

Shortly after, they will reunite with Sharon again, and will be made aware that she has found a new lead after realizing that Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck) was driving the car that she saw speed off with Crystal inside. Sharon will tell them how she and Nick (Joshua Morrow) set a trap for Alice by installing a tracking device on her car, and they are hopeful that doing so will lead them to Crystal's location.

However, Tessa may no longer be willing to wait around for only a chance of rescuing her sister. With the new information, she may decide to once again take matters into her own hands, and with Mariah by her side, she may go to visit the home Alice has been tracked to, and though doing so could prove exceedingly dangerous, the two women will decide it's the only thing they can do.

However, an arrival at that house could also turn up a surprise for them. While Alice and Crystal are both inside, someone else is there—the true head of the sex ring, who expressed a desire to meet Crystal. That person is none other than Zack (Ryan Ashton), Tessa's ex from Chicago who knows that Crystal is her sister, and will use that information to ensure she remains loyal to staying on as one of his prostitutes.

"Hello, Crystal," he says in the clip. "You've had a lot of people concerned about you."

After warning her that she's becoming too much of a liability to ensure that she never attempts to escape or reach out to Tessa again, Zack may also then decide the time has come to make another move on her behalf. However, as Tessa closes in on the truth and the property, it could prove to be dangerous for her and her sister as well.
