'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Will Adam’s Secret Ploy Be Uncovered?

He had gone back to Vegas and swore he was no longer going to be involved with life in Genoa City following his family’s plot against him. However, following Phyllis and Cane’s own arrivals in Nevada, Adam may be forced to admit he still has one very big connection to his hometown on the Thursday, Oct. 10 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Adam (Marc Grossman) swore when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) showed up that he was officially out of the revenge game against his family after learning they tricked him into thinking he had killed his father, Victor (Eric Braden) on the CBS soap. Still, she persisted, indicating she thinks he isn’t entirely against the idea of still plotting against the other people in Genoa City. Now, Cane (Daniel Goddard) has also arrived, and considering what has happened with him recently, it will seem like Adam may be hiding something big.

“Adam is cornered,” spoilers reveal.

Cane will likely want answers about Adam's connection to Chance, who was allegedly behind the recent changes to Katherine’s Will, which took the money that was left to Devon (Bryton James), and instead left it to Cane. He wants to find Chance for answers, but he has gone missing. Considering Chance and Adam were previously revealed to have met up in Vegas, he and Phyllis both believe he likely had answers—and not only may know where Chance is but could be involved in the huge shocks that have now shaken the Chancellor family.

Naturally, Adam will still deny everything, since he could be innocent, but even if he isn’t, he won’t likely show his hand to anyone else so soon—especially Cane. Considering her own past shady behavior with Adam though, Phyllis won’t likely believe him so easily and may continue harping on the issue, demanding answers.

However, she may wind up having some big secrets of her own as well, and whether she or Adam is running a con, things will get tricky in both Vegas and Genoa City as a result.
