They now know that she has done something that could cause some serious trouble for her, and as they continue investigating, Jack and Kyle could figure out the truth behind Ashley’s actions on the Thursday, Oct. 11 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Kyle (Michael Mealor) had already warned his aunt that she wouldn’t be in the CEO seat at Jabot for long before being approached by Andrew (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) on the CBS soap. Andrew, whom Ashley (Eileen Davidson) had claimed was a chemist she was using as a consultant, told him that he had powerful and damaging information about both Ashley and Jabot that he wasn’t afraid to expose, especially since she had decided to stop paying him.

Now, Kyle has taken this information to Jack (Peter Bergman), eager to find out what Ashley may be hiding, since something really scandalous could work in their favor and get Jack back in charge again after he was removed from power because of the Blood Abbott clause, which was since abolished. Y&R spoilers tease that Jack faces a test of his loyalty, which means he could initially be reticent against digging into Ashley’s business dealings but may later change his mind.

It appears Jack will, in fact, do just that and decide to start looking into everything for himself. Remembering that Billy (Jason Thompson) had questioned some payments Ashley was making to a consultant while he was CEO, Jack may start there. He will likely quickly figure out that the consultancy group was actually Andrew—and it will immediately raise some red flags for them both.

While it’s a little unclear just what Ashley paid Andrew for, the truth will likely come out very quickly now that Jack and Kyle are on the case, but even they could be stunned by what they’ll learn. A preview video for the week’s episodes shows Ashley telling her brother that he can end his search for his biological father—because she knows who it really is.
