‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Kyle Reveal Summer’s Plans?

He is engaged in a bet with her over whether or not she will successfully get Billy to sleep with her. Now, with Summer planning to ambush the object of her desire in Philadelphia, Kyle will make a move to thwart her seduction goal on the Wednesday, August 22 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Summer (Hunter King) has been actively pursuing Billy (Jason Thompson) for a while and made a bet with Kyle (Michael Mealor) that she could successfully seduce her mother’s boyfriend by the end of the month on the CBS soap. If she won, she would get his car, but if she lost, he would get her. After her initial plan to expose Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) affair with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and force a break-up fell through, Summer changed her tactics.

After getting Billy to admit that in a world where she wasn’t Phyllis’ daughter he would find her attractive, Summer made plans to also attend the trade show in Philadelphia that he is headed to. After Lauren (Tracey Bregman) told her to stay behind, Summer then made plans of her own for a trip to Philadelphia and found out where Billy was staying.

Kyle, meanwhile, has been reflecting on the entire situation and his own feelings for Summer, which he can’t help having despite her obvious obsession with Billy. After a conversation with Mariah (Camryn Grimes), he decided that since Summer was no longer playing by the rules where her plans for Billy were concerned, then he didn’t need to do so either.

Spoilers state that Kyle reveals a secret. Phyllis previously called him out for letting Summer know she had slept with someone while she and Billy were briefly split up, and now, Kyle may decide he owes her a favor as a result. He will go to Phyllis and inform her of her daughter’s plans, and what she does with the information will be critical. Whether she decides to also head to Philadelphia in a bid to stop her daughter or decided to see how far both Summer and Billy can be pushed, Kyle’s decision to clue her in could mean some major drama for the mother and daughter.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
