Nick was floored when he realized he would have to give in to his brother’s demands and hand over his company if he wanted to keep Christian. Now, as he learns where Adam got the money to buy him out, he will be further shocked as he realizes who set him up for betrayal on the Wednesday, June 12 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

When he ran out of options to try and save both his company and his son from being handed over to Adam (Marc Grossman), Nick (Joshua Morrow) handed the keys to Dark Horse over and warned his brother to stay away from the son he wants back on the CBS soap. Since then, he has also learned that his ex, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), who was last seen with Adam, has gone missing. Now, as he goes to confront his brother to see what happened to her since his daughter, Summer (Hunter Tylo), is worried about her mother. However, when he goes to see him, he will wind up learning just how Adam figured out the truth about his debt—and where he got the money to buy it out.

Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) secret is revealed on the June 12, 2019 episode of ‘The Young and the Restless.”  Sonja Flemming/CBS

“Victoria’s secret is revealed,” spoilers reveal.

When Nick points out that Phyllis conveniently disappeared after helping Adam hack into the Dark Horse servers, where he discovered that the debt existed, Adam will likely reveal he isn’t the only sibling who had a hand in the takeover. Though she intended to have him leave town, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was the one who gave him the money—and also handed over Chelsea’s (Melissa Clare Egan) phone number, complying with the demands he initially made on both of his siblings.

Learning Victoria funded Adam’s ability to take over his company and threaten to take Christian will infuriate Nick because he’ll feel betrayed by his sister. He also won’t hesitate to confront her, since they had agreed they wouldn’t give in to Adam’s demands, but she went behind his back and gave in to two of them. When she reveals she did it with the intention of getting Adam out of town so he doesn’t hurt her chances of taking over the family company, he will be even more annoyed—and their normally unshakeable bond as brother and sister could be tested in a way they never expected as a result.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
