'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Will The Truth About Lola’s Attack Come Out?
Lola’s brothers have known the truth about who really attacked her and put her in the hospital for over a month on “The Young and the Restless,” but now, she and Abby will also learn the truth about what really happened on Valentine’s Day on the Thursday, May 9 episode of the CBS soap.
While the attack became something of a blessing in the end because her hospitalization allowed doctors to find an issue with her liver that was corrected after a transplant from Summer (Hunter King), Lola (Sasha Calle) has still wanted justice for what happened to her. Now, as she learns that her brother Arturo (Jason Canela) plans to leave town with a pregnant Mia (Noemi Gonzalez), the truth will come out and Lola will realize that her sister-in-law was the one who pushed her into the Abbott family pool—while assuming she was Abby (Melissa Ordway).
Now, as she learns the secret and seeks to confront Mia about it, as well as Arturo and Rey (Jordi Villasousa) for helping her cover it up because of the pregnancy, Abby (Melissa Ordway) will also learn the truth—and she isn’t likely to be as forgiving as Lola could be.
“Abby learns a secret,” spoilers reveal.
After Mia potentially confirms the truth and admits to Lola she never intended for her to be hurt, and also defends her brothers for not turning her in because they don’t want the baby she’s carrying (which could belong to either Rey or Arturo) to be born behind bars, Lola could decide that it is best for her fractured family to keep things a secret for now. However, she will need to convince Abby of that as well, and considering her engagement to Arturo blew up because he and Mia had slept together, she won’t be as convinced.
Since a preview clip for the week’s episodes also showed Paul (Doug Davidson) seeming to arrive at Mia’s and arrest her, it appears Abby may decide that the secret is no longer one worth keeping.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
