'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Will Victor Support Nick Or Adam?
He has been trying to do everything he can to have his entire family back together in the wake of his potentially life-threatening illness. However, after learning of the latest move Adam has made against Nick, Victor will finally take a stand when it comes to the ongoing battle between his sons on the Wednesday, June 19 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Since Adam’s (Marc Grossman) return to Genoa City and the regaining of his memory, he has done nothing except cause problems for his siblings, most notably Nick (Joshua Morrow), who has been the target of the most of his plots on the CBS soap. After deciding he wanted to have his son, Christian, back, Adam has been ruthless, even forcing Nick to choose between the little boy he has raised and the company he built from the ground up. However, despite Nick giving him Dark Horse on the condition that he then never come near Christian again, Adam has decided to sue for full custody, knowing that since he is the boy’s biological father, he could potentially win.
The new plot has made him no new friends and even seemingly torched anything he was building with his sister, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and with Sharon (Sharon Case) as well, with both irate over what he’s doing to Nick. Now, when Victor (Eric Braden), who brought his son back to Genoa City since he is ill and wants all of his children back in case he dies, learns of the new scheme, he will also find himself added to the list of people who are against Adam.
“Victor reaches a decision” spoilers reveal.
Though Victor has had his own share of times where he tried to needle Nick, and even also tried taking Christian from him last year, he has since realized how much his grandson benefits from a life with the man he knows as his father and doesn’t want anything done that will hurt that. In addition, his grandchildren are the world to him, and while Nick doesn’t always get along with him, he has no intention of leaving Genoa City and taking Christian with him, while the same can’t be said for Adam.
However, when he goes to confront Adam and potentially realizes nothing will get him to back down, Victor may finally reach his breaking point with the son he fought so hard to get back in his life. As a result, Adam could find himself back on the outside and with no support system around him.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
