The next rom-com to hit Netflix will star fan favorites, Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon. The romedy legends recently got on a video call to tease their upcoming movie "Your Place or Mine."
Netflix dropped a video on YouTube Wednesday, where Witherspoon can be seen on a video call with Kutcher, asking "Are you excited to tell people about our new romantic comedy?"
The 44-year-old actor replied, "Oh, yeah. The one called Your Place or Mine" with a smile. The 46-year-old actress shares her excitement for the same before the actor asked a "random question."
"Random question for you. If you could have done a romantic comedy with anyone in cinema history, who would it be?" Kutcher questioned and Witherspoon instantly replied, "Cary Grant." She went on to name Tom Hanks too.
However, when the same question was asked to Kutcher, he replied, "Reese Witherspoon." The actress replied, "Ashton, that is so sweet. That is literally the nicest thing you've ever said to me."
The video further flashes the "TUDUM 2020: A Global Fan Event" title, which is slated to premiere on Sept. 24 on YouTube. As far as the event is concerned, it will feature "the biggest stars and creators from around the world on one virtual stage." This event will be held to celebrate fans' favorite titles on Netflix.
"Your Place or Mine" is currently under post-production. The flick revolves around two long-distance pals, who help improve each other's lives.
Witherspoon, who played Debbie's character in the movie, goes on to pursue a dream while Kutcher played Peter who promises to look after Debbie's teen son. The film also stars Jesse Williams, Mystic Inscho, Steve Zahn, Zoe Chao and Lavinia Postolache.
The movie is directed and penned by Aline Brosh McKenna.
Considering Witherspoon's upcoming projects, she is currently filming "Tiny Trailblazers" TV series. She will also feature in the highly anticipated movie, "Legally Blonde 3," which is under pre-production and expected to release next year.
Kutcher, on the other hand, will play Nathan Winer Sr. in a movie, titled "The Long Home." He will also portray Michael Kelso's character in the upcoming TV series, "That '90s Show," which is under post-production.
