Ryan Kaji, an 8-year-old boy from Texas, has stunned the world by becoming the highest-paid YouTube star of 2019.

According to Forbes, Kaji, who has a channel named Ryan’s World on the video streaming service, raked in almost $26 million from June 2018–June 2019. Meanwhile, one of the most subscribed YouTubers of all time, PewDiePie — his channel has 102 million subscribers and is the second-most subscribed channel on the platform — came in at number seven.

It means the earnings of Kaji and his family’s production company, Sunlight Entertainment, increased by $4 million this year. In 2018, they earned a staggering $22 million from a plethora of sources.

Kaji’s first video was uploaded on the streaming service in 2015, but his moment of glory came in July later that year when he was seen unboxing and reviewing a box containing more than 100 cars from Disney’s “Cars” franchise. The video turned out to be a gigantic hit and got more than 1 billion views on YouTube.

His channel now has more than 22 million subscribers and he even has a contract with Hulu.

The second on this coveted list is a channel named “Dude Perfect.” The channel was started by five guys in the year 2009 and they perform stunts to achieve the perfect trick shot. “Dude Perfect” is the ninth most subscribed channel on YouTube, and it has over 47 million subscribers.

The group earned a whopping $20 million and also secured some world records to their name.

On the other hand, a five-year-old girl named Anastasia Radzinskaya has grabbed the third position on the list after earning an estimate of $18 million according to the publication. Born in 2014, Radzinskaya became a household name when her parents started to upload videos of her progress while battling it out against cerebral palsy.

The videos started to become viral and her channel, Like Nastya Vlog, became an instant hit. As of now, she has six channels on the video streaming service and has over 105 million subscribers as a whole.

Rhett and Link, who host the “Good Mythical Morning” show on YouTube, are in the fourth position and earned almost $17.5 million in the calendar year. Meanwhile, the top five was rounded off by makeup artist, Jeffree Star, who made over $17 million from YouTube and other sources.

Other notable channels on the list include Preston and Markiplier.
